Blue Ridge Bracket Company

Blue Ridge Bracket Company was founded in 2009 by Terry Reno and Trent Van Dyke.

Terry and his wife Nancy had just added a new deck to their home when Nancy said she wanted to hang some plants and planter boxes. Terry said, "that's fine as long as you don't screw or nail anything into the new deck." She replied, "Then you better come up with something to do it with!" A short time later, Terry created the first prototype for the Fast-Loc Classic Bracket.

The bracket worked so well Terry considered bringing it to market. He approached his business-minded friend Trent to see if he would be interested in building a product line and eventually a company around this "one size fits all" bracket. Trent accepted the offer and Blue Ridge Bracket Company was formed.

After spending the first year and a half selling at the consumer show level, Blue Ridge Bracket Company expanded its reach, shipping to hundreds of garden centers, wild bird stores and hardware stores across the United States and Canada.

Trent left the company in 2012 to pursue other interests, while Terry has remained as Chief Operations Officer.
